VADUZ

Vaduz is the capital of Liechtenstein, and seat of the country’s monarchy. The most important building of Vaduz, a magnificent city with medieval baroque and gothic buildings, is Vaduz Castle, which rises on the hill and is the home of the royal family. Although it is an important city, there is no airport or train station in Vaduz. The Kunstmuseum, which includes modern and contemporary art, as well as Vaduz Cathedral, Gutenberg Castle, Schellenberg ruins, all reflect Neo-Gothic architecture. The Vaduz Royal Family has adopted a tradition of observing the national celebrations by inviting residents to the castle.
