The largest country on the European continent Ukraine's name means “borderland” and its capital is Kyiv. Ukrainian is considered to be among the most melodic languages in the world. The constitution of the Ukraine was written by Filip Orlik in 1710. The shortest avenue in the world, the Kreshchatyk is found in the Ukraine. The land witnessed the largest nuclear disaster in world history with the Chernobyl disaster that took place in 1989. The Chernobyl Museum, the Potemkin Stairs where the “Battleship Potemkin” was shot, the UNESCO World Culture Heritage List’s Rynok Square as well as with its artistic tombstones, the Lychakiv Cemetery, are all found in the Ukraine. The Ukraine is also the place where the world renowned song “O Sole Mio” was composed.
