SANTA MARIA

Santa Maria is a coastal city in Santa Barbara County, Southern California, in the US. It is the most populous city in the Santa Maria-Santa Barbara Metropolitan Area. The city is known for its wine industry, which cultivates grapes in the Santa Maria Valley and uses them in wineries throughout Santa Barbara County and elsewhere. The Allan Hancock College in Santa Maria is home to the Pacific Conservatory of the Performing Arts, a theatrical school and production company whose alumni include actors Robin Williams, Kathy Bates and Zac Efron.
