Huntington Beach is a city in the US. Located in Orange County, the coastal city is part of the state of California. Huntington Beach is christened after Henry Edwards Huntington, a railroad magnate who facilitated the city’s inclusion in the Pacific Electric Railway and its infrastructure development. The city is famous for its extensive stretch of sandy beaches and laidback beach culture. Its waves are perfect for surfing throughout the year, which has earned Huntington Beach the nickname of “Surf City”. Some of the city’s top attractions include the International Surfing Museum and Huntington Beach Pier, a historic deck that extends into the Pacific Ocean.
