BANDAR LAMPUNG

Bandar Lampung is a city in Indonesia, and the capital of Lampung Province. The city rests on the southern edge of Sumatra Island, and consists of 20 administrative districts. Bandar Lampung was formerly known as Tanjungkarang-Telukbetung, as it merged both settlements to form an urban community. Bandar Lampung is currently one of Sumatra Island’s most populous cities, thanks to the Dutch colonial rulers’ transmigration program, which relocated landless individuals from other more densely populated islands to less populated ones. Lampung Bay, which is a short drive from the city center, is perfect for a quick respite.
